Playstation: Giving You A New Face

Sony has been aiming at giving it’s users a more community rich experience by updating two entry points for it’s users, the Playstation.Blog and Playstation.com. The PSB update was a small update in which user functionality was taken into account. Moving the recent posts column towards the top, adding the Twitter feed under the banner and implementing “Feature Post” in which a specific item of news is given the presence it needs. Today launched the new Playstation.com site which integrates the PSN id’s to the Playstation.com forums (previously avaiable), and from what I gather setting up a framework to allow the site to expand. Users can view PS3, PSP and PS2 specific content, each section with it’s own prominent title bar. You can see special console deals, blog posts concerning games or content on the machine, and Playstation.Store items.
