The PlayStation Store is now on Amazon! Sony has joined the ranks of Microsoft by offering PSN and PSP titles for purchase on the Amazon store. Like Microsoft, this is a good step in letting more people know that there is content to purchase from PSN. So go and purchase WipEout HD or check out Super Stardust HD.

According to Eurogamer, one of my favorite PSN titles is coming to retail overseas. The release will include the recently released Fury add-on pack. In the US you can have such an amazing futuristic racing game for only $19.99 while the Fury pack will run you an additional $9.99. Honestly, this is a steal considering what you get in the game.

SCEA, where is the US Blu-Ray release? It deserves to be in as many hands as it can be!

WipEout HD is a PSN game that EVERYONE should have. Just as you move along from game to game, it seems Liverpool wants you to come back. I’ve been needing to get back to this beauty. Check out the video after the jump:

OK, OK. Although it was a required purchase for anyone who owns a PS3, WipEout was not a day 1 for me. I blame school, and work. With that small admission, I did get the game and what I have played thus far is a complete blast!

First off, the game is absolutely gorgeous! Sony Liverpool delivered a 1080p masterpiece. The images are clear, with a dynamic HD menu system. I found myself just staring at the title screen when first turning it on. Everything just runs smooth, there is not a single hiccup in the game. The design is amazing and it is truly one of the only racing games where I just want to look at the track instead of racing. Warning to SD users, play around in the menu options to change the menus so you are able to read them….or the preferred and best option would be to go out and purchase a HD TV!

When first playing, it took a second to figure out what the controls were. I am normally accustomed to the control scheme being shown to me before beginning my race. Once figuring out the layout I was able to get going but I did find that having the gas button and weapon button so close together caused a little of a head ache for me. I am not sure if I change the layout but I will look into it.

In all, this game is a must buy! At $20, you are hard pressed to find anything else on the PSN store or in retail that is as much fun as WipEout HD is. 16 tracks (including reverse), Time trials, co-op, online, in-game music, photo mode (my pics taken are above), trophies, and eye blistering sexiness! What more could you ask for?

It seems this week is poised to emptying my wallet on the Playstation.Store. With Criterion releasing Burnout as a download-able PSN title, my interest in the game has certainly peaked. Especially, when it is at a good price point of thirty US dollars.

Also set to release this Thursday is WipEout HD, racing game of the year for another great price of twenty US dollars. All the screens shown for this game has blown my mind and I cannot wait to get my hands on it! The game supports trophies, online play, co-op, and 16 tracks.
