This has been a news filled week indeed so let me give you a recap of some noteworthy items released on the PlayStation Store during E3:

Finally, a patch to fix some things that have been causing a headache with HD Remix. Unfortunately, I have moved on to IV so I don’t think I will be downloading the patch any time soon after it is released.

1. After a number of games, the HUD will be corrupt. Yellow lifebars will freeze, the round counter flags will all be on, and the names will show more than one name. (Both)
2. Frequent disconnects during VS transition screen. Often caused by selecting START color of character. (Both)
3. Title crashes if user has a large friends list and tries to access the friends list (PS3)
4. Rating being set to “0″ and from then on, rating remains at “0″. Once that patch goes live, we’ll reset all leaderboards/scoreboards. (Both)
5. Vega sometimes causing desyncing, especially when using the fake wall dive. (Both).
6. Lobby list containing full rooms instead of only rooms that users can enter. (Both).
7. Zangief Super Motion not working on both sides and in both directions.
8. During the start of the match, there is slight slowdown. This has been minimized as much as possible. (PS3).
9. If connecting to a ranked match through the quick match function, it is best out of 3 rather than best out of 5. (Both)
10. Sending messages via XMB during a game causes a freeze. (PS3)
11. Players not added to “Players Met” list. (PS3)
12. Analog and D-pad can accept input at the same time. (Both)
13. Player stats not reporting correctly.

Funny, I didn’t see trophies on that list…

So, after complaining about Street Fighter yesterday, I will now take my anger out against others!!!!!! I now posess SFIV but I am in a dilemma…I have taken precious time away to blog about my recent purchase, but I face the innevatable decision; SFIV or LOST.

Now, Lost is one of those shows that I MUST watch live. I have to know whats going on at that very minute as I lurk around Neogaf reading their responses…tough decision…

Edit- So I suck. I never said I was good. I am just going through arcade practicing. My choice of fighter, Chun-Li. I really like the game thus far but hate the title track!! For those interested, I picked up the PS3 version since the PS3 is my default system and I am curious about the Home integration. Also, regarding the PS3 version, the game does not require an install to the HDD but I fully recommend it! Just go to Options > Settings > Install. I do not know the size of the install but it is about a 5-10 run. The load times are vastly improved.  See you online:

Update: It would seem Europe got their answer today. Tomorrow the EU PSN store will make glorious download of SSF2THDR available to you, and then on the 20th you can go buy SFIV

Well, this week many many gamers will be playing Street Fighter IV including our overseas brothers, but that makes me ask, where is Turbo HD for the PS3 in Europe? To answer that myself I can just say that it is simply not there, as in, not in the EU PSN store.

So what exactly is going on Capcom UK, and SCEE? Will Turbo HD even matter now that IV will be released? And please don’t give me that “We don’t foresee these two competing in the same market. The PSN download is for those new to the franchise and allows them to experience it at a lower cost point”. I can say if I were in their shoes, I wouldn’t care. HD was supposed to get me hyped for the new release of IV…so why should I pick it up again?

Capcom announced that they have sold over 250k units of SSF2THDR.  This is simply amazing considering it is only a digital release available on XBLA and PSN.  Capcom suspects that this title will also break 30 day sales records as well. Although we don’t have break down data per platform we do know it was the Top Arcade Title for XBLA for week of 12.8.

It is great to hear information like this for digital releases and it would be great to hear more about other digitally released titles in the future.

Don’t you just love the name combinations? New LBP DLC has been announced on the PS.Blog. Four new costumes will be made available at $1.99 each or $5.99 for the entire pack. The costumes are the Street Fighter characters Chun-Li, Ryu, Guile and Zangief. So tempted to grab this because they look so awesome BUT I could spend the money on a PSP game or add-on for other PSN titles I’ve been wanting to play again…
