We have seen this type of OS in various movies such as Minority Report and now we get to see a demonstration of said tech. I had two thoughts when seeing this;

1. Oh my god, this is amazing!
2. I would love to play a game using this!

I really want to believe. I stopped playing Sonic after Sonic and Knuckles. I skipped all the 3D Sonics because…well, you know why. I really want to believe in this but I just can’t given the past history. What do you think?

The guys over at Giant Bomb takes a quick look at Shank, an upcoming downloadable game.

You may have read about Sony’s Qriocity name patent and now you know what it is for. Qriocity is their On-Demand video service, akin to Microsoft’s Instant 1080P streaming service for the Xbox 360, that is speculated to release Feb 2010. Unfortunately, no one knows if this will be heading to the PS3 but one can imagine (hope) that it will. Instant streaming is certainly welcome as it is something I have wanted from the video store, besides lower prices, for a while now. I will say it again, if I can get a comparable OR decent monthly subscription plan to their video store, I will drop Netflix.

Anyway, watch the video below and follow through to SonyInsider to read their impressions. From video alone, the UI is nice. Also, for comparisons sake, Microsoft’s Instant 1080p streaming service determines the connection and scales the video content while playing. It certainly does cut out the load time.

Old video is old but I am posting anyway. Trauma Center is one of my favorite Wii games and it is certainly a game that I can never get tired of playing. With the removal of the timer and making the game easier overall, I just hope it doesn’t suffer too bad as I loved the challenge the previous Trauma titles brought.

Behind The Scenes

Bayonetta hits stores tomorrow, 1/5/10, and I must say that I will have it. After playing the demo on both the 360 and PS3, I simply cannot pass this over-the-top action game. What system will I be playing it on? 360. Despite my dislike for the buttons on the 360, it is visually the superior version. If you only have the PS3, you’ll be fine. It still looks good but just don’t play it on the 360. It is such a shame that Sega didn’t do the port justice.

Platinum Games

There is one thing I love and that is looking at work spaces, offices, desks, monitors, etc. I especially love when we get a chance to peak inside a game developers studio. United Front has provided us with a video walk-through of their studio. I think I am going to ask my boss for a second flat screen.
